I don't like rain :(

I was just getting used to the sun! But hopefully it will warm up again soon :) anyway, the rain meant I had to cancel what I'd already planned today so I ended up going shopping with my lovely boyfriend :)
I've been looking for a denim jacket for ages and was determined I wouldn't get a cropped one... which happens to be exactly what I ended up getting. I got the one below from Topshop from the Tall range and I love, love, love it :D I love the three-quarter length sleeves and the colours. It's loooooovely :) and if you were wondering, it was £40 :)

I saw this dress on the Miss Selfridge website a little while ago and decided I had to have it. I am absolutely in love with everything coral at the moment and I love pretty things so this is perfect :) It was £32 but actually ended up being £28.80 with my student discount. Hurrah! Anyway, I have a pair of lovely lace-up brown ankle boots from Topshop and I think this will look lovely with them. Mmmmmm.

OF COURSE. I jumped on the bandwagon and went and bought my two bottles of Diet Coke from Boots and received my free Nails inc. nail polish. I haven't tried it yet but I got the lilacy, brown one on the left (London). I don't think pinks and reds look very nice on my hands so I thought I'd try this one :) I'll let you know what I think when I eventually try it.
Fiiiinally, more bandwagon jumping. I got the GOSH Velvet Touch Lipstick in Darling. It's a really lovely nude, pink colour and I can see this soon becoming a favourite of mine. I also popped into M.A.C to get the Viva Glam Gaga lipstick but they didn't have any stock :( but one of the sales assistants took my name and is keeping one aside for me when they do come in, hopefully some time next week! :D
For tea we had Domino's. I feel so fat. I had a large (ten slices). I really like my food, okay? But I couldn't manage the last two so I'll be eating those at some point tomorrow. YUMYUM. I hope you've all got a lovely bank holiday planned! And I hope the sun decides to return. That would be super dooper.

OHOHOH. Has anyone seen Sex and the City 2 yet? I'm dieing to see it but I don't know when I'll get a chance. Let me know your thoughts if you have seen it!! Just don't tell me what happens.

Birds Eye Supermousse anyone?

I recently discovered they're selling these again and am currently scoffing one of them down. I remember eating these when I was tiny! I used to love them :D I'M SO HAPPY THEY'RE BACK.

Does anyone else remember these? Or is it just me?

And it's finally half term! I now have a whole week off. Yummy :) hope you're all okay!

Just a wee update

I'm sorry I haven't posted for a little while, I'm doing my A-Levels at the moment so I have so much work to do! But we break up for half term on Friday so prepare yourselves for copious amounts of posts next week :)

Thank you all for following by the way! It makes me so happy :D xx

Sweaty Betty

It's been so hot today! I feel nice and sticky now, and have gained a wee burn on my back. Anyway, I thought I'd begin this post with an OOTD:

Wedding dress: Justin Alexander

HOHOHOH. Yes. I got to spend today in a wedding dress :) woheyy. You may be wondering why. Maybe not. But I will explain for those who are. Basically I model for a bridal shop and today we were exhibiting at a wedding show at a gorgeous country estate. I love doing this! All I have to do is walk around and eat wedding cake samples. Yum :)

But is was so hot! I think the dress had around 8/9 layers of net and I was boiling. Plus sitting down was a bit of a chore. I kind of had to lean backwards and fall because it was a fishtail dress with no room to move from the top to the knees. But it was gorgeous :) although numerous people managed to tread on it and rip some of the net. But luckily my boss was expecting that and didn't mind. Phewwwweeee.

Me and my friend Lizzy :)

So so pretty!

Couple of studs right there ;)

My dress had a detachable piece which went over the shoulders. It was so beautiful

The front of the house, with a wedding bus and helicopter! :D

I thought this was amazing, if you haven't already worked it out, it's a stretch Mini :D

And because they're funny:

Lovely day overall :) despite the overheating. Apparently it was hotter here than in Spain and L.A and other such places today. Crazy days!
I hope you've all had a lovely weekend :)

This girl can do no wrong

I just watched this. I hadn't actually watched the whole thing. I don't quite understand why there's a random picture of Jedward? Oh well. The song's pretty :)

Pure Bliss

today began with a walk around one of the gorgeous water gardens in Norfolk. I love walks in the country so it was lovely :) all of the bluebells, azaleas and rhododendrons were out and they all looked so beautiful! Not only this, but for two consecutive days we have had super dooper weather! It's so sunny and warm :)

Just in case you were wondering, my outfit consisted of:
Straw trilby: Topshop
Playsuit: Topshop
Red belt: Charity shop
Bangles: Accessorize and no idea
Bag: Past Times, with a scarf from a charity shop tied onto one of the handles :)
Boots: Topshop
You can't really see anything else but the rest of my jewellery is from places like Miss Selfridge, Accessorize, Topshop, the V&A museum and even Sainsbury's ;)

After my lovely walk with mum and dad we went to find some lunch. We ended up at a lovely, picturesque pub and the food was delicious! I had a 10oz steak burger with bacon and brie with salad and chips. Then dad got me onion rings and garlic bread to go with it. Somehow I polished the whole lot off. I'm not entirely sure why I'm not obese.

We sat in the garden which was lovely. Nothing can beat a pub garden on a nice hot day :)

And finally just because I thought it was funny:

Dad managed to get a snapshot of me stretching off my beasty meal. Yummy ;)

Anyways, I do apologise for the length of this post! Congrats if you've actually read the entire thing. I'm off out to the theatre tonight, hurrah! But now it is time to do some work in the hope that I don't fail my exams.

Hope all of you beauties have had a lovely day!

Must stop

online shopping. I buy far too much then wonder why I'm so skint.

I want this bedroom. And the dog. I'm redecorating my room soon and I'm thinking something like this?
I fancy pancakes

What a lovely day...

to do some work :( gah! Spent today doing work, then I began writing this when I was taking a break but my internet broke so this is no longer on the hour, as it's happening news ;) even though it's incredibly boring. I just thought I'd do a little post :)
It's been so sunny today! Shame I have so much work to do :/ anyways, I'd been painting one of the worst paintings I've ever done for a couple of hours and felt I needed a break. As I entered the garden for my break in the sun I noticed the middle of our fence leaning against the pergola. But I think it's supposed to be there because my dad's currently replacing the fence. So my dog started to investigate it and tried her very best to get through the gap. Unfortunately for her she isn't tall enough to reach the part of the gap she would fit through.
Anyway, my Aunt and her children live in the house the other side of my fence, nice and close. Unfortunately, her children are young and annoying and I was fully aware of the fact that as soon as they returned from school they would be sticking their heads through the gap and trying to summon Flash (my dog) with tasty make believe sausages. Only it was worse than I had orginally expected, I was in the kitchen revising history and suddenly Flash ran outside. There were around four children's heads sticking through the fence. It would seem that they have friends round. Is it irrational for me to hate children? Although it did amuse me when they ran away when I went outside to pick up Flash's cuddly bear.
So, here are some of the photographs I took. Not that a gap in the fence is that interesting/humorous. But I did enjoy watching Flash trying to get through :)

I'm sure I irritate my dog when I do this. In most of the photos it looks like she's rolling her eyes.

Trying. Failing.
The gap!
N'awww :) she's so sweet. I love my dog :D

My crap painting. I painted this in my art exam and need it to put in my prep sketch book. Although this one is really bad!

It would seem father put yet another dinosaur in the tea bag jar.

Having curry for tea tonight. That will cure that long-running craving :)

Natural Face

loves it?

I went on a wee shopping spree last weekend and splurged out (with the help of my birthday money). I don't have much left now! Anyways, I thought I'd share with you what I got :)
MAC paintpot in Bare Study. Haven't made up my mind about this just yet, I'm currently obsessed with using NYX jumbo pencils as a base to my eyeshadow so I am yet to try this little beauty out!

For the last 9 months or so I've been using MAC'S Studio Sculpt foundation in NW20 and I felt it was time for a change. Although I love studio sculpt I have quite oily skin and the Shea butter in the foundation was doing my skin no favours whatsoever. It was fine for the first few hours but then my face was as shiny as... grease? Anyways, thought I'd give this a go and risk the alleged breakouts caused by it. I've been fine so far, I've been using it for nearly a week. The coverage is amazing and I love the matte finish. Although I do like a nice dewy glow so I may get myself Benefit's Moon Beam when I have the money :)

After buying my foundation and whatnot, I headed to superdrug to get me a new primer. I was going to get the GOSH Velet Touch Foundation Primer but it was pretty pricey at around £14. I knew what the price was beforehand but I was expecting the bottle to be much bigger than it was! Anyway, I chose not to get it. On the other hand, I had a No7 £5 off voucher (love those <3)
It claims to cancel out redness which it definitely does, hence the beautiful green colour. Mmm. The only problem is that it tends to stick to dry patches which then remain green and I then find myself removing it from that area with a makeup wipe. It also tends to get a bit blotchy and it's quite difficult to smooth in so I may try mixing it with a mousturiser. Other than that, the performance of this product is amazing! I love it :D my makeup stays set for hours on end and I no longer feel the need to keep reapplying it. I think I ended up shedding out a mere £5 for this so all is good in the world!

I've wanted this playsuit from Topshop for a while now. I was a little hesitant at first because I'm incredibly tall (6ft and half an inch ;)) so I was worried the body would be too short. It's fine though! And I was quite surprised to find that what I thought was going to be cream lace was actually a very pale pink. It's adorable! Although my brother did feel the need to point out the fact that I looked like I was wearing some kind of 'Victorian swimsuit' is what I believe he said. I love vintage. It's fine.
I HAVE WANTED ONE OF THESE FOR SO LONG! This is a photo of mine, but it has a corsage... on the other side. So I don't know why it was taken from this side? I love it :) and have now acquired the nickname 'Pete' thanks to my lovely brother. (Pete Doherty style indie douchebag style hat.)

Finally I bought this, from Topshop of course :) I believe it was £38. I don't usually wear this colour but I thought I'd go a bit wild and get it anyway. I've barely taken it off since I got it. Despite the hot weather. I'm just burning up. But I'm cool with that because I love love love this cardigan.

LIFE IS GOOD! <3
I really fancy a waffle.

I can hear

an ice cream van! Summer must be on its way :)

Bappa di boopy

It was my birthday last week so I thought I'd share with you some of the beauts I gratefully received! Please excuse the first two, Glee is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. But I know I'm not the only one!

A lovely vintage (1970s) bag :)

Gooorgeous weekend bag from Past Times. I'm not sure if it's current season but I think it was bought around Easter time so it may be <3

Topshop slip skirt :) I love it but I'm not sure what to wear with it! Any suggestions?

Topshop bandeau dress. I love this muchly <3

Topshop of course :)

I adore this picture! Ever since I was a wee diddly my nanny had it hanging in her bathroom and I've always wanted it so she got me one from an antiques fair! I love, love, love it!

I love these!
